Thinking About Winter Already?

Spring weather is barely here, but a team of engineers at Jezerinac Geers is already thinking about winter. Working with Thomas & Marker Construction, we’re on the design-build team to replace Mad River Mountain’s ski lodge, which was lost to a fire last September.
The new 46,000 sq. ft. lodge features a loft area on the second level, with elevator access, a live music stage, slope side deck offering views of the mountain, seating for over 300 skiers and snowboarders, and is scheduled for completion in December.
Mad River is the largest ski resort in the state annually attracting over 150,000 visitors during the ski season.
“No one is in a rush for freezing temperatures yet, but it’s exciting to see what Mad River will offer when it does get here,” said Project Engineer, PJ McDonald.
